Anti-Lice Treatment with Listerine

Head Lice can be big issue when it come to school kids. Kids play together , bump heads share stuff and it should lead to transfer of eggs and lice to one another. Play areas, school,day care are the main places where kids tends to catch lice. Most of the time you tend to realize only when the kids start scratching their head.

Getting rid of eggs and lice can be very difficult and painful too for the kids.There are a lot of on the counter treatment available and they might not work. It can be frustating dealing with the head lice as they tend to come again and again,

But, do not worry, there is no need to worry. Head lice are not actaully harmful to health. They, however, make your head itch a lot.



This treatment was shared by young mother Charu who actually struggled with her daughter ,Avisha head lice. the child went to the day care and had long hairs. The hairs were thin quality but were dense in nature. The day care reported that one of the kids was having head lice as detected during a routine check up and all parents were asked to check the presence of head lice in kids. Charu checked Avisha hair and found head lice and eggs too. She bought some on the counter treatment and applied on her child head and use thin comb to was off the eggs and lice.She repeated the treatment also. The itch went off for some days but she found her daughter scratching her head again after some days.As she described, she tried several chemical treatments but the lice refused to go. They will come again and again. She was highly frustrated. The lice did not go for more than 6 months. Then she tried an old remedy as the last resort.  The remedy is as follows :

The five items you require for the treatment are nit comb, coconut oil,shampoo, conditioner and blue listerine, shower cap and a clean towel.

1. In the night, apply some light hair oil like coconut oil in the hair.
2. Take blue Listerine and apply lavishly to all hait evenly. Be careful while applying so as not to touch the eyes.
3. Cover the shoulder with towel.
4. Run the nit comb through the hair and take eggs and nits off.
5. Leave the hair for sometime to dry or apply dryer to dry hair. Wear shower cap and sleep.
6. In the morning, shampoo hair and wash with warm water.
7. Apply conditioner and run the nit comb again through the hair.
8. Wash the conditioner and use nit comb on and off.
9. Blow dry your hair.

Repeat the process every alternate day if you have severe lice infested head or repeat 3 days till lice are gone.

Moreover, you can repeat the process bi-weekly /monthly once lice are gone. this will surely get lice off hair and prevent coming again.
