Lemons for Type 2 Diabetes



Lemons have been found to be extremely beneficial in controlling the type 2 diabetes. It is said to improve control the blood sugar in the body. Lemons are extremely rich in Vitamin C. They help absorption of minerals in the body and also aid in digestion. It the eastern methodology, digestive system is considered the epicenter of the body. If you have a good digestion, then you will remain irrespective of what you eat,

 
Lemons is an anti-ageing agent. They are helpful in making collagen. They help you keep youthful for quite a long time.  They also contain vitamin A, choline, folate, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and fiber.
Lemons are also good in treating cold and cough and a sore throat. They also help in back pains. IF you take a glass of warm water with lime and rock salt, there are slight chances that you will suffer from colds and throat infections. Moreover, it gives flexibility to the muscles preventing arthritis and fatigue.
Lemons are known to regulate blood sugar. It is always advisable to take a glass full of warm lemon water with honey at the start of the day and do not take anything till half hour. Also, take a glass of water at the end of day. Take nothing after that. The blood sugar with be regulated to a lot after that.
Lemons have a lot of soluble fiber and vitamin C.  Soluble fiber have been shown to reduce blood sugar. The higher the fiber intake, the more the benefit. This type of fiber may aid in lowering blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, help with weight loss. It also helps in preventing cardiovascular disease.

Vitamin C may help decrease levels of fasting blood sugar, triglyceride, and cholesterol. It may even improve insulin resistance.

  1. Check with your health care team before increasing the amount of lemon in your diet and attempting to use it to improve health.   
  2.     Lemon juice can erode tooth enamel and increase tooth sensitivity. If drinking as lemon water or juice, drink through a straw and rinse your mouth.
  3. Lemon can cause problems such as kidney stones and pain from inflammation.
  4. Lemon can act as a diuretic. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
